Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by the browser on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a site. They allow a site to recognize you on subsequent visits and provide a better experience.
Beyond cookies, some sites use similar technologies: localStorage, sessionStorage, tracking pixels. This policy covers all such technologies.
2. How we use cookies
The site str8wall-timis-website.pages.dev uses a minimal set of cookies. Below are details for each.
2.1. Strictly-necessary cookies (Cloudflare)
These cookies are essential for the functioning and security of the site. They are set automatically by Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider.

2.2. Google Maps — only with your consent
On the Contact page and the "Coverage area" section we offer Google Maps embeds. These maps do NOT load automatically. On your first visit, you'll see a cookie banner at the bottom of the page. You can choose:
- Accept all — maps load, Google may set cookies (
NID,AEC,SOCS,1P_JAR, and similar, variable duration up to 13 months). - Reject all — no Google cookies are set. Maps stay blocked (you'll see a placeholder where they would be); the rest of the site works normally.
- Settings — a modal with per-category choice (you can accept ONLY maps, or keep them rejected).
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
Google Maps cookies are set by the google.com or maps.google.com domain, not by our site. The applicable privacy policy is Google's: policies.google.com/privacy.
The implementation follows the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR requirements: consent is obtained before the map loads, "Accept" and "Reject" are presented with equal prominence, no boxes are pre-ticked, and withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it.
2.3. Cookie-less technologies
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. For analytics and security, Cloudflare processes server-side (without cookies on your device): pseudonymized IP address, browser, page visited, time of visit. This data is aggregated and used for security (anti-DDoS, anti-bot) and performance (fast delivery from the nearest edge network).
2.4. What we do not use
For transparency, we confirm that we do NOT use:
- Google Analytics (neither GA4 nor Universal Analytics)
- Facebook Pixel / Meta Pixel
- Google Ads conversion pixels
- Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or other heatmap tools
- Retargeting / marketing cookies
- Live chat with cookies (Intercom, Tawk.to, etc.)
- Social network cookies (embedded Like buttons, etc.)
- Web contact forms collecting data via the site (all contact happens by phone or WhatsApp)
If we add any of these in the future, we will update this policy and add a consent banner where legally required.
3. How to disable cookies in your browser
Regardless of what our site does, you can disable or delete cookies directly in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
⚠ Note: disabling strictly-necessary cookies (Cloudflare anti-bot) may affect site functionality — in rare cases, Cloudflare may show a verification page.
4. Your rights under GDPR
Regarding cookies and associated data, you have the right to:
- access your data
- request its deletion
- object to processing
- lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro)
